A first 2023 single release «If We Don’t Dance» will be released by Jostein Vidnes Berntsen on 18 March 2023. The new single is here to tell you about walking under the streetlight on the way to somewhere better if might be, meet your friends who will be, and dance alone in the night. By the candlelight before and after.
The release is another precursor to more singles and an album later this year and is following the 2022 singles «It’s Only What You’ve Done To Me» and «I’ve Come To Realize». The recordings are being made in
Uleberg Media & Music Productions.

Artist Information:
The artist Jostein Vidnes Berntsen - singer, guitarist, composer - is now
underway with a new music project with self-composed material for a new album.
Jostein has extensive musical experience from local Norwegian rock bands as well as played with
other artists all over the land in previous years.
The recently released music has a more acoustic soundscape with intense and intimate songs
which reaches out to where the heart listens.
The musical landscape is inspired by many genres and artists, but with it's
own unique personal expression. A third new single has now been released on
Uleberg Records in May 2022. An album is planned for release after this later this year.
Release ’It’s Only What You’ve Done' May 2022:
A second single 2022 release «It’s Only What You’ve Done To Me» by Jostein Vidnes Berntsen is now coming out in May. This song release comes right after the release of the single «I’ve Come to Realize» in April this year.
The new single is here to tell you about the moon, what can be done when you might not really know, where to look for something you can’t find, and to look for where the heart is singing to your soul. The release is another precursor to a coming album later this year. The recordings are being made in Uleberg Sound Studio.

It's Only What You Have Done To Me
Pre-release news - One new song release by Jostein Vidnes Berntsen on May 14th 2022:
Following the debut single «Chastened» from Jostein Vidnes Berntsen in late November 2021, and the recently released: «I’ve Come To Realize» in April, a new single will be released in May 2022.
Coming out from May 14th is «It’s Only What You’ve Done To Me» which will further excite the acoustic soundscape that were evident in the first two releases. There are some new sounds and production coming into this song with it’s beautiful musical message in the intertwined notes building the human spirit. Listen and love and open the door to your heart as Darrell Banks sang some time ago.
This release is a part of a coming album that will be launched later this year. The recordings are being made in Uleberg Sound Studio.

Two new song releases by Jostein Vidnes Berntsen in March 2022
Following the debut single «Chastened» from Jostein Vidnes Berntsen in late November 2021, there will now be released two new songs in March 2022: «I’ve Come To Realize» and «It’s Only What You’ve Done To Me».
First out coming next week is «I’ve Come To Realize» which will further expand on the acoustic soundscape that were evident in the first release with some more sounds coming into this new song which is destined to reach your heart. What we need in these times to keep the soul above water and resonance with the human spirit.
